Squirrelly Whirrelly

"A tiny little squirrelly whirrely, was snuggling with her mom,
in the hollow of a big old oak all comfortable and warm,
And when she grew a little bit, a few weeks from being born,
she’d venture just a bit outside, and nibble some acorns.
And when she grew a little more, and ran and climbed the trees,
she'd play among the flowers, and chew sunflower seeds . . .

Ol' Snod

"Magic is just nonsense, silly nonsense!" said ol' Snod
"There's a perfect explanation any time there's something odd."
"There's no such thing as wizards, stinky trolls or dragonkin,
and that tinkling elvish forest laughter's really just the wind.
When you think you saw a fairy it was all just in your head.
Enough nonsense for one day, and now I'm off to bed."
But late that night as Snod slept tight, all snuggled up and warm,
a wizard crept into his room and cast a sleeping charm . . .
